VR in Product Development: Where can it step in?
I created a video to demonstrate the use of VR in exploring forms and ideas in true scale, very early in the design process. Gravity Sketch, an app on Oculus Quest lets me sketch and evaluate in 3D space, followed by taking pictures from various angles to instantly serve as sketch underlayers, or even export 3D geometry and use it in my CAD/3D software of choice (ft. Blender in the video). This is only a minuscule of what’s possible with VR as a tool. But more (maybe Unreal Engine) for another video. Design is exciting!
